Luisa Gonzalez is a black and grey Tattoo Artist and illustrator born in Monterrey Mexico, raised right here in Austin, TX. She started her tattoo career in 2018, and is now a full time tattooer at Great Wave as of late 2022.
Luisa’s inspiration comes from a background of charcoal, scientific illustrations, metalwork, and ceramics/sculpting. Most of Luisa’s work is influenced by Medieval or Tolkien like imagery, as well as classic black ink tattooers such as Freddy Corbin and Bob Roberts. Having grown up with hispanic culture, traveling, and Texas traditional tattooing, her work blends both chicano fine line and traditional styles to create lifelong designs with plenty of black ink.
Luisa is available Sunday through Wednesday and is always open for consultations.
