Bobby Padron was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and began tattooing in 2007, apprenticing at Rock of Ages Tattoo under Tony Hundahl and Steve Byrne. He went on to tattoo at Rock of Ages before joining Red Stag Tattoo, where he spent the past seven years. With nearly two decades of experience, Bobby’s work is rooted in classic American traditional tattooing, with influences including Jason Brooks, Jeff Whitehead, and Scott Sylvia.

Bobby is especially drawn to large-scale, custom American traditional work in full color, though his experience spans a wide range of styles and approaches. Over the years, he has worked in geometric and dotwork, portraiture, and fine-line tattooing, and is just as comfortable with smaller pieces as he is with extensive custom projects. He regularly tattoos from his own flash, welcomes walk-ins and tattoo events, and is always interested in taking on thoughtful, large-scale custom work.

Outside the shop, Bobby continues to draw and paint, maintaining the same hands-on connection to art that has shaped his tattooing from the beginning. A lifelong Austinite now based in the Texas Hill Country, he brings nearly two decades of experience, versatility, and a deep respect for the traditions of tattooing to every piece he makes.
